I just installed an adjustable fuel pressure regulator in my car I have a cold air intake, headers, exhaust, walbro hi flow pump, and a 300zx fuel filter I was wondering what would be a good pressure to be running at with this set up on a KA.

Oh yeah I also have iridium plugs, 8.5mm wires and and MSD ignition amplifier if that makes a difference.

stock. 34psi at idle. our cars run rich out of the box. you WILL lose performance if you richen it up.

which regulator did you get? jwt?

It is an OBX adjustable. Do you know anything about this company, are the products any good? the regulator seems really nice but I don't know much about the company.

^ obx is garbage.....no offense.

I'm not positive you will even be able to install it. the only fpr that works well on our cars, is the jwt fpr. I got mine for $120 from a nissan dealership.

I have already installed the fpr and it seems to work well, is there a reason that the jwt fpr is better other than the name. One thing I like about mine is it has the pressure gauge right on the fpr so I know exactly what my pressure is right away as I adjust. The quality of the piece seems good too it is CNC'd billet aluminum and none of the connections leak at all. Do you know of people having problems with this unit? Why is the JWT fpr the only one that works well on our cars?

sorry for the confusion. I dont know why I said JWT. Its actually a nismo regulator. and it is a direct factory replacement. do you have installed pics? or a link? you did remove the stock regulator right?

I don't have any pics of it installed but I can get one. here is a link so you can see what it looks like. I got to admit it would have been nice to mount it in the factory location. finding a place to mount the thing was the biggest issue installing it.

Its still connected in the same place on the fuel rail. like the factory unit this fpr has a fitting to install in the stock position on the fuel rail but has a barb that runs a high pressure hose from the fitting over to the fpr then down to the fuel return line.
