i checked my fuel pressure at idle, i turn the key to the on position with the engine off and my fuel pressure gauge seems to slowly drop of, it starts at about 36 psi and then drops slowley to about 20 psi , is this supposed to happen or what do you think is wrong?

im running a ka24de with a turbo kit and have installed a begi fmu and walboro pump.

i put in new injectors and new o-rings, so i dont think the gas is leaking past,

it may be bleeding off the pump back into the tank. do the test again except this time when it reaches maximum pressure pinch off the supply line leading to your gauge. If it no longer drops its your pump. if it still happens do the test again this time when it reaches pressure pinch off both the supply line and the return line. If you still loose pressure your problem is in the rail. either the injectors or the FPR,to test the operation of your FPR start the car and let it idle. pull the vaccum line to the FPR your pressure should go from 36 to about 43 psi. this indicates your FPR is holding pressure. that leavs an injector or seal as the problem.
