Hey guys i got an weird issue with fuel pressure.

I'm having hesitation at WOT, Everything is stock and original on KA24DE
i changed the fuel filter(Z32) and that helped a little bit. Then I checked the fuel pressure, its 25psi at idle with vacuum connected to stock FPR.
I disconnected and capped the vacuum line to the stock FPR
Left the vacuum port on the FPR open, fuel pressure is still at 25psi.
Capped both the Vacuum line and the FPR Port, no change 25psi.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

stock pressure is 43.5 wiht no vac applied to the fpr, you pump is dead or you have a bad leak.

As far as i can tell there is no leak, according to the FSM the idle pressure should be 35 and vacuum disconnected should be 43 but I'm only getting 25 in both instances, could it also be the stock FPR?

pinch the return line and see if the pressure spikes... if it does its the FPR if it doesnt its the FP.

also could be a leaking injector or inj o ring.... see if it holds pressure after the car is shut off

I pinched the return line and the pressure rose about 2 psi, so I'm going to change the pump and regulator. Ordered a Walbro 255 and Megan racing regulator, should be good for a stock KA.

So per my last post i had changed the fuel pump in the beginning of august, everything was working fine. A week ago i finally installed the Megan Racing FPR and after trying a bunch of different pressures, i set it at 40 on idle. The car ran great for a week but now it wont start. I have zero fuel pressure, the pump is working and i have fuel going to the rail and from the rail return to the FPR. So I'm thinking this crappy Megan FPR killed itself and that's why i have no pressure.

I also checked to make sure there are no leaks.

Does all that make sense?

If it is the FPR i think I'm going to get an Areomotive, not going to cheap out again.
