I know you set the fuel pressure at 36psi, but I was going to ask if I were to set the fuel pressure at 40psi, would that lean it out at around 2500rpm? the reason I'm asking is I'm trying to get it to pass emissions. I took it to a friends shop and we put it on the tester (manually) did it, and it will pass at idle but the HCs at 2500 its to high. At idle it was like around 200 HCs, but when he has to rev it up to 2500rpm for about a minute, the HCs goes up to around 260 HCs. It's suppose to 220 or less to pass at idle and at 2500rpm. Also I have no cat on it. It is 2.5 straight back. He wants to charge me $160 to cut alittle section of the pipe out and weld a cat in there. Something that won't take him but what 20 minutes to do! Then $28.50 on top of that for the inspection. So what do you guys think? If that does help, right when it passes then I'll put the fuel pressure back down to 36psi. I know I'm being cheap by not putting a cat on it but that is way to much $$ to do something easy like that.
