I have read too many times about someone hurting their motor because they lost fuel pressure this is something that I feel can be avoided by the use of a pressure switch like the one used for n2o, it would be wired to a relay and from there I am little lost on what to do ?Maybe use it to cut the ignition? would you need a diode to prevent feed back? Some of these switches are ajustable so you would be able to set it at your personal safe zone.

Sounds like a good idea. Ignition cut is 'safer' than a fuel cut.But I can imagine a situation where fuel drops below the desired amount without tripping the relay. Your car would still have to idle so you couldnt set the switch any higher thab base fuel pressure. However, if something goes worng at high rpms (and full boost), it will be a while before fuel pressure dropped low enough to trigger the switch. In the mean time, you motor has run several revolutions without adequate fuel.Using a switch that could vary with rpms or boost pressure would be better, but much more complex.

I am not sure why you would need to make sure the car would idle if the pressure dropped it would trip the relay if the pressure came back it would trip again turning the ignition back on and some of these switches are adjustable so you could set it at any pressure you would like,Oh I see you could only set it to your base pressure that being the lowest point, thanks for pointing that out. I still think this is a good idea, you would just need to make sure base pressure is adequate for fueling your tune. Ok one more idea what about combining a hobbs switch is it possible to reference boost to fuel pressure,I know someone has done this to many failed fuel pumps have happened for somebody not to think of this or maybe I am thinking about this wrong ?
