my friend is getting ready to do a swap in his 240sx, but is debating on what fpr to go with. i do have some experience with fuel systems but i did -10 lines with the aeromotive 600gph and matching fpr using a fuel cell. but he is running a far less agressive system, so what is everyone else using?

Nismo adjustable FPR should be more than adequate for him.

aeromotive 1:1 reference FPR w/-6an lines (not really needed)

This is a pic of my old DSM, but you get the point

i had the red one on my 200sx gti-r, but i thought that would be a little overkill for a street driven car. especially with a -6 return port

Hybrid's 255L/Hr Walbro pump is pushing through the factory FPR on his RB20 and holding a nice, constant 3 bar static pressure (motor off, key in on position; and when at idle).

Wouldn't a Adj FPR only be needed if you were pushing more fuel than the stock FPR could return, or you were trying to cheat your injectors for more fuel by upping the system's static pressure? Correct me if I'm wrong, which is possible, but this is the way I understood the FPR's role. This is all overlooking the need for a race fuel system by the way, which would need them for large lines/high volume reasons.

yeah, basically you need an AFPR if you want to up the base fuel pressure, or if your running a huge pump and the stock FPR cant return enough fuel, causing your motor to rich out/not run right.

well most sr cars stock FPR are NOT adequate with whinebro 255lph's.... I know TONS of peopel use it, bt when i put one on my s13 is smoothed out soooo much!
