Fuel pressure regulator??

To everyone who has changed there fpr.

how the hell did you do it, ive been trying to squeeze my way in there since mardi gras holiday began. no luck yet. what tools/techniques did you use

and please do say its easier with the engine out the car SXOC already gave me the noob treatment.

while im at it, any one change their injectors' without, removing the intake manifold, if so tips and tricks plz.

I used a stubby screw driver, a prybar to hold and put pressure on the screw driver and pliers to turn the screw driver. WD40 helps also.

For the fuel rail just unbolt the idle air control like 3 10mm bolts and 2 hoses (try not to break the gasket when pulling it off the manifold) then just unbolt the fuel rail, pull the clips off, and change your injectors.

I pulled the fuel rail to change the FPR.

i'll be installing mine within the next month as well, but im doing it at the same time as i am installing the KA TB so the manifold will be off...

but yea, i'd just pull the rail, seems fairly simple to get to.

Whats this thing next to the fpr??

While changing my fpr i noticed it but dont know what it does sorry for the crappy pic, i dont have my camera so i had to crop an old one.

the other thing that looks similar to the FPR? that would be the butterfly valve actuator your welcome.

I actually used a small ratchet and a phillips head bit for a cheap drill set (the kind that has a hex side on it). The 90* was good for pulling the FPR.

The internet isn't the problem. It's the carpal tunnel from all the p0rn that's the problem.
