Ok, I searched and I found quite a bit of info on FPR's...so I know what the deal is with a stock one...However I heard that if you want to increase boost, BUT DO NOT have bigger injectors, increasing the FP is a good way to minimize lean conditions? Is this true? If so, what would the settings be at idle, and WOT? Or should I only worry about this IF I have bigger fuel injectors?

Increasing fuel pressure is one way around having small injectors. I wouldn't really recommend it though, i'd rather spring for new injectors and know everything is good.

Alot of low budget turbo and supercharger kits include an fpr to due just that. Isn't that what the nismo fpr is for? It looks stock just has a nut and bolt on the top it adjust it with. I have seen a stock fpr modded like this on a ka engine.I looked into the nismo afr, but I have an auto with the bigger tps. There no room for the nut and bolt on the nismo unit to fit, let alone try to adjust it.

Trust me, I would love to have bigger injectors as well, however for hundred bucks, its cheap! Injectors and a Power FC (My ecu of choice) will run around 1500....100 or 1500? What would you look into for the short run?

It's a cheap, and very dangerous way of doing it.

Basically running higher static fuel rail pressure increases the pressure driving the injectors, which in turn causes them to spray more fuel for a given amount of time they're open.

That said, go ahead and do it if you feel stupid. I wouldn't risk a $1500 motor just because I'm a cheapskate. When you melt a piston (and you will end up melting a piston) you're going to wish you spent the $700 for injectors and an AFC rather than the $100 on an AFPR.

i was wondering, can you at least use the fpr to lean it out? im running stock smic w/ 3" turbo back. 11lbs. seems like im running richer everyday... im thinking the o2 needs to be changed also.

You could use the FPR to lower base pressure and lean it out some, but this is just as bad as using it to raise pressure and increase fuel to the engine.

Replace your o2 sensor...you can get a generic one at autozone for like, $30 and you're good to go.
