Hey guys, i just picked up a nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator for my sr, and well was wondering if there was a way to check what pressure its set to without a gauge, like maybe can you use a vacuum tester or any other way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if i put an inline fuel pressure gauge in the feed line, that wont be the same pressure as the rail sees right?

yes I have the same one. Put an inline gauge in the feed line (after the filter, before the rail) and you will see the pressure at the rail. The regulator acts as an (adjustable) restriction, at the end of the fuel rail, preventing flow increasing pressure. After the regulator there is little pressure, just fuel returning to the tank.

On that regulator, tightening the bolt increases the pressure. I know thats probably obivious but somehow I got screwed up about it and cranked my pressure sky high. Dont want you to do the same thing.

Its not that expensive to hook up a gauge to it man. I made one at home and it works awsome.
