OK, here I go, lol. I think I have a vaccume leak. I just got my old cams back in ( because of some problems with my BC cams). I took off all emmissions and related vaccume lines. I plugged all holes that I would not be using, I put in new intake mani gaskets,TB gasket and all new hoses. So I go to start my car and it just keeps turning over and wont start up. After some looking around I found that the fuel feed line had a ton of pressure in it and the return line was bone dry. I looked at the vaccume hoses goung to the fuel pressure regulator and they looked good so I bought a new fuel pressure regulator. I installed it and to no suprise I have the same problem. So I tied the FPR vaccume line into the brake booster with a little 3-way adaptor, plugged the FPR vaccume hookup on the intake mani and tried to start the car....... NOTHING. It still does the same thing. Im taking off the mani just to inspect all the vaccume lines this weekend. The reason I think I have a vaccume problem is because when I releive fuel pressure the car starts and runs for about 5 seconds then cuts off so I know its not timing of anything like that. Does anybody have any ideas other than a vaccume leak? Sorry if this dosent make sense, Im in a rush and tired, lol. And before I forget the car is a 1995 240sx w/KA24DE. Thanks for the help!

try swapping your fuel lines around, i let a guy replace my timing chain and for some reason he unhooked my lines and got them backwrds my truck wouldnt run right above 3k, swapped lines ran fine, just an idea. oh it was a ka24e btw

what was your issue with the BC cams?..are they stage 3?..if so you may need to clear the lobes from the bucket area's by using a dremel tool to grind away excess material..if thats your issue ..follow my mayspace link and there is a kinda pic with howto in my myspace pic folder.
