providing that the fuel pump is good, fuel is good, will fuel pressure vary from harsh driving condition/temperature?

I am trying to see if I actualyl need a fuel pressure gauge or I can just borrow one, set adjustable fpr to desired pressure and forget it.

It will not vary. Fuel pressure is set at idle with vacuum disconnected.

when you say vacum disconnected, you mean the vacumm between FPR and the intake manifold right? do I just idsconnected it or do I need to block off of the hole on either/both side?

THere is vacuum line running to the stock fuel pressure regulator. Just unhook while car is idling, set fuel pressure to desired need. 3 bar = 43psi, 4 bar = 59psi

YOu have to have an adjustable FPR(NISMO) will work fine. THey are less than 100 dollars. Its a direct replacement for the oem regulator.
