I have an RB20 s14 and everything on it is factory except what is needed to make it run. I have the walbro 255 fuel pump and I'm just running downpipe. My main problem is that the car will not start without a couple tries with starting fluid. Once it starts and runs for maybe 30 seconds it will run fine and I can even turn it off and start it up again fine. Without the ether, it will fire every once and a while but not enough. The car started fine before it winter really set in around here. My brand new thermostat was stuck so I removed it to see what would happen and it solved my overheating problem. Then the next day it wouldn't start. I don't see why having no thermostat could cause this.

I did not remove the fuel line when I did the thermostat, but I have removed it many times before, including when it was starting everyday. If my injectors were not pulsing, why would it only do it when the car sits overnight but if it only sits 2 or 3 hours it will start up fine. I hear a relay clicking under the dash after idling for about 10 minutes. The engine revs slightly (maybe 100 rpms) and then goes back to normal with each click. I'm thinking its like a fan relay. My fans are straight wired though (I know that's not the best thing to do).

Did the vacuum on your boost gauge change? maybe you have a leak some where?

No there was no change in vacuum or boost. I believe sololock was right, my injectors are not pulsing when the fuel pump primes. Today I cranked the engine over and over and over and it fired up eventually with no ether. I believe the only fuel its getting is when the CAS spins and the ECU grounds the injectors. It is not spraying fuel in the chamber when the fuel pump primes. My next question, is there a fuel injector relay that controls this or is it all the ECU's job to prime the injectors? I've searched the fuse boxes for a relay but the one under the driver kick panel does not label the 4 relays in that fuse box.
