fuel pressure is low-- 20lbs. what could be the cause

the fuel pump was fine when i had my ka24e. we have regrounded it. brand new everything on motor ground up. could it be z32maf or fuel pump? also if the safc 2 has not been calibrated yet could it cause it to barely run at 500rpms?

anybody please help. its def fuel related

Did you install a new fuel filter? If so, have you replaced the stock FPR?

i did install new z32 fuel filter, but the fpr is stock.

i got a walboro fuel pump coming in tomorrow. the pressure was read before the fpr. hopefully this it.

Could be a blown diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator. That wouldn't let the pressure build up.

That's what I'm thinking. Replace the FPR and I'll get that fixes it.
