have a 92 240sx with ka24de turbo it has a t3/t4 turbo a walbro 255 fuel pump sr20 fuel injectors im only wanting to run between 6 and 8psi but right now my car is running to lean to take any were instead t just starts to die when you ht the gas fast it will rev if you hit the gas very slowly but that is it. today i hooked up a fuel pressure gauge and at idle its between 28 and 30psi ( was told at idle t should be at 33psi for a 240sx) and when i rev it goes down and jumps around from 22 to about 26psi ( was told t should be around 37psi with when accelerator is fully depressed) i don't no were my fuel pressure should be with the turbo if its any different from the ka24de or not. also im stuck on were to look for why my fuel pressure is so low my fuel pump is new, I'm going to get a new fuel filter but the one there still looks new but i figured i might as well get a new one. I read that it could be my fuel pressure regulator but i didn't want to buy a new one till i know if that's the problem or not

Fuel pressure should be at 43 psi w/o vacuum line hooked up to the fpr with an idle of 750 rpm. I would start with the fuel filter but most likely your fpr is toast.

Its one of those replace with known good part type of deals. I have an extra stick one, but I would just get an adjustable one for down the road.
