hello guys am having a problem with fuel pressure bleed off, it's causing hard start because the fuel system has to reach full pressure before the car starts I have checked and re checked all my fuel lines, has anyone had this problem what are the chances that's the fuel pump check valve it's a new pump about 3k on it walbro 255 or at lest it should be it did not say walbro on it but it had a walbro serial number.

Fuel pressure issues are more than likely an FPR issue than a fuel pump issue at start-up.

Its actually quite common for the check valve on the Walboro to come off... Its the metal valve on the outlet of the pump that the hose slips over... You would have to pull the pump to make sure its there...

It is more common for small particals to get stuck in the FPR between the diaprham and the return port... If its a stock FPR, you can pull it out and blow compressed air thru the outlet and unstick the particles..
