your car wouldnt start from lack of fuel from a clogged filter before it burnt up the pump, either way the pump is likely trash if its blowing the fuze. best to change the filter when you change the pump.

Pump not pomp...sorry that is bothering me...

How old is the pump? More than likely it's a clogged filter. Change the filter and go from there.

No.
Most likely, a fuse burns due to age, a large spike in current or a short.
Check your voltage to the pump.
Turn ignition key. You should hear the pump activate.
If you hear pump activate, turn ingntion key back to off.
Go check your fuel lines.
make sure you have them correctly installed.
I have installed my fuel lines backwards before
If you do not hear your pump activate when turning key, then you more than likely have an electrical problem

Before any major step go to the were your fuse is blown and try to follow the wire for possible tear or short some were.If the wires are fine then replace the fuse(junk yard are cheep) and if it blows again then I'm agreeing with moso.
