My 93 240sx has had a problem with low rmps... I have replaced the plugs, sparks, and cap. I have checked to see if they all spark. The only thing that I see is that the engine does not change when I pull the plug off the injector. Anything I can check before I buy a new injector? I don't want to spend $90.00 on a new injector just to know it was the wire or something. Everything seems to work fine when i use a little acceleration though. When I let off the gas and am stopped is when the problem is noticeable. Thanks in advance.

Try to be more descriptive; what is the specific problem?

When you remove the electrical connector from the fuel injector, you say the engine does not change. Exactly what do you mean; the engine still has the same problem? Removing the connector should make the engine idle very rough.

The engine when started sounds like it only has three cylindars. It idles very low almost to the fact that it dies. When I drive the car the forth cylindar seems to work but when I come to a stop again the engine returns to three cylindars and almost dies idleing. I can see and hear the sparks from the cap and plugs. The only thing that gives me a hint is when I pull the wire from the fuel injector. The forth cylindar does not change the engine, it still sounds like three cylindar. When I pull the other wires the engine sounds like two cylindars.

It looks like cyl #4 is not getting spark. Remove #4 spark plug and connect to ignition wire; lay plug on valve cover and see if it's firing.
