i have a 1991 infiniti q45 and the fuel meter stopped working. i can take the glass off the cluster and move the needle up to F and it will stay while the car is off but when i turn it on it slowly drops back down to E i replaced the sending unit 3 times and the cluster 3 times and checked fuses. it tells me when the im running low on gas cause it says "low fuel". I need help what should i check or do??????? any relays maybe??

:welcome: to NICO!

I woud suspect that the guys that added your keyless entry (referenced in your other topic) could have messed something up. This is not a common failure item. There should be diagnostics in the FSM (Factory Service Manual) available at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ to help you track it down. The 1994 FSM is the oldest one available there - but it should be the same...

Good luck!

Thank you but im just saying it was a keyless entry he put in from a professional viper dealer its really hard to believe they would do something to foolish like that have any idea what wire could have been cut or maybe it could be a relay?

I have no idea... it's a rare failure. I'd check the FSM and try to track it down. I don't think there are any relays involved in that circuit.
