it's all about the $.... in my opinion.... greddy makes accesories, apexi makes electronics, and hks(garret) makes power adders..... greddy electronics, are getting better, but who doesn't like apexi?i'm running, afc, wideband 02, mkiv supra fuel pump, 290lph at 12v and 380lph at 13.5v (holy moly), aeromotive fuel pressure reg. and dual feed fuel rail..... but for srs, do me a favor and just forget the emanage

Im leaning toward the apexi due to the fact that it supposedly handle boost control too so I should be able to loose the profec b right ? and it also takes care of the need for afc right my goal is to keep all the high tech stuff to a minimum if you know what I mean I looking on upgradeing the turbo soon either t28 or t3t4 set up so i need to take care of being able to change all my settings to handle it

The apexi SAFCII does not controll boost, neither does the Power FC.

The A'pexi Power FC "can" control boost "only if" you buy the boost selenoid from A'pexi, same selenoid used on the AVCR.

For me since I'm not going all out, I'm just sticking with a basic afc and boost control setup.

no I am impressed with the apexi cause i was told it would control everything however do i go with the apexi that sshould be able to handle all my tunning needs for the next stage turbo i get or do i do the common thing and get the afc, ecu program, seprate boost controler, so on so on i am shooting for 350 to 400 rwhp daily driveable which should be able to happen right the question is how to optimize my tunning and keep it super simple a clean ?

you'll end up spending just as much for all those piggybacks, and reprogramming.... you can also hide the commander in the glove box and make your 240 look totally stock.... you don't really even need gauges... the commander has many display options

thats what I thought I always see everybody with the piggy back stuff but isnt the commander much more efficient plus the piggy back stuff has limits as for the commander it has no limits other than what you set your self am i right?

from what i understand the full capability of the power fc cannot be exploited with the commander. if you want to dig deep you need either the datalogit software and a laptop,or pay for a power fc excel authorized dealer to do stuff. for the record i just ordered a power fc and intend on getting the datalogit software from new zealand as soon as it is released for my application.

You know that you can get the datalogit software for the pulsar gtir and test it to see if it works on your car and if it doesn't work then you can tell them that it won't work and they'll make you a new application. You don't have to wait.
