So i turboed my 94 KADE with no upgraded fuel stuff with the exception of my pump. now i have a 93 and all my turbo stuff but dont want the same results. motor blew in like a month Now i want to put all the stuff on my new car but obviously need some kind of fuel management. What all should i do. i only want to run 5-7 psi and dont have a lot of money but also dont want to wait a year to do it so if anyone has any some what cheap ways of doing it that would be helpful. i do understand that you get what you pay for so im not trying to be cheap i just want to boost now! lol thanks for the help.

I'd personally not reccomend using anything less then new injectors and either self-tuning with a SAFC (cheap, but not relilable) or getting an e-Mance or Enthaply ECU tune (more relilable, but not cheap).

You can find 370CC injectors from an SR for pretty cheap. I can't help with the SAFC or anything since I run an Enthalpy tune myself, sorry.

Just keep in mind, you have three options with cars - cheap, fast, and relilable. You only get two of them.

calling :bs my car seems to be fast, the build was very cheap(under a grand with motor) ,and fairly reliable since its been over 2000 miles of hard boosting it. BUT I PLANNED PLANNED PLANNED and SEARCHED SEARCHED SEARCHED. I used my extreme intelligence to build a scrath setup, all parts used except fueling upgrades(walbro 255hp,wiring mod,300zx tt filter bigger ss feed line, XX fuel pressure on megan afpr) also I rom tune with a WIDE BAND O2(plx smafr). I have a stupid setup tho... I'd say I do ok not a pro, but a decent "street tuner". I was getting decent gas mileage(25ish+) before the z32 maf and speedo failure recall a 4th gear slip and slide being at fault now IDK what it is.

in short your gonna need fuel upgrades and a good tune or afc btm setup.

It's an old saying neverlift. They are exceptions to it, like most things, but I just wanted the OP to hear it.

If he really only wants to push 5-7 lbs, a FMU wouldn't be out of the question. Granted it's not the best option, but it is an option none the less. I'd look into it VeloceDrift.

Emance will tune an ecu for $125 for nico members and as stated above, you can get a set of sr injectors for pretty cheap. you should be able to get both for under three or you could get an fmu for around $75 or so. I have heard good and bad about fmu's, although I don't know personally.Good luck.

yeah $125 is for sure in my price range. i just dont have the money to go spending $500 on electronics and what not. I had a buddy that had an FMU and it seemed to do the trick. All i would need to do is through an FMU on and see if my air fuel ratio is good underboost and as long as its good i should be ok right? sorry for askin these noob questions just tryin to get some straight answers as im sure that you have seen the posts where one guy says it will work and the other says it wont and you never get a straight answer. thanks for the help guys

If $125 is in your price range it is far better to have a tuned ECU then use an FMU, IMO.

^ Get with Jason at E-mance and hit the classifieds for injectors. Or check out the sticky called "Great info, look here first" and check out all the injectors on the list that will fit your car, and maybe you could find a set at a local salvage yard, just be cautious and make sure they will warranty them. Most yards have a thirty day return.Maybe someone who has experience with an fmu can chime in and let you know how that would be .
