Just to verify - and I having been trying to search this for the last hour - the fuel line that connects to the fuel filter goes to the FPR by the front of the car? Then the fuel dampner on the end of the fuel rail connects to the fuel line that runs back to the fuel tank?

On the fuel filter I have the fuel line from the "out" side of the fuel filter connecting to my nismo FPR. Sound about right?

The opposite. Your fuel filter should be on the feed side of the fuel rail. The FPR is on the return side of the rail.

Thanks for the verification.

So should I put my fuel pressure gauge between the fuel filter and before the FPR? IF I have it after the FPR and on the return line than in theory it would read zero pressure?

you know, quit busting everyone's balls just cause they ask a question. this is a public forum its not some secret society. maybe he already did a search and maybe he didn't either way, who cares. if you didn't want to answer the question then don't. its that simple. I'm so sick of you people bashing on others for asking questions. did you forget you were a newbie at one point yourself!

I actually did try performing a search and could not find what i was looking for. If you look up a few posts I did say that I tried searching for a hour. Maybe I didn't use the correct keywords - who knows.

I just had a thread with this same question so if you had done a post body search would have shown right up, those are very helpful searches so keep them in mind for next time!

BTW I apparently read everyone's direction's backwards because my fuel line in goes thru what I know to be an FPR first and then thru the rail and back out the other end to flow back down and recirc. If I reverse my lines the car definitely does not get fuel. So lesson learned, if you're gonna take advice, know how to read first!

I don't even know what search means.

no but seriously, i always search and never find jack, except on a lucky occasion. Then I just figure it out myself... I guess that's just how it works, life's tough.

this has nothing to do with the fact that the OP is a "newbie"

it has to do with this question has been asked literally hundreds of times throughout the internet message board history when talking about swaps and 240sx's. maybe you dont understand, but the people who have been here a long time get real tired of answering the same questions over and over and OVER again. without their input the legitimate difficult tech questions go unanswered and that mean this forum fails.

once again, if you don't want to answer....then DON'T! secondly you're a mod...move the topic or better yet delete it and send a pm as to why. i've done your "job" before its not a big deal your life doesn't depend on you "modding" a forum and if it does you've got to get a new hobby.

i just ran into the same problem with my motor swap a week ago. i couldnt figure out which line went to the rail and FPR. i llooked at the "lets see pics of everyone engine" thread and figured it out that way there are other ways to figure little thing out.

Only difference is that I have a top hat manifold and almost all the pics I saw in that thread ( yes I did look ) were stock intake manifolds. The ones with aftermarket manifolds were not very clear - at least to me.

The FPR is always last inline.

So look at it this way fuel comes into the rail and blocked by the FPR.It either goes out through the injectors or at too much pressure goes out (back to the tank) through the FPR.
