fuel lines and fittings???

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the "AN" ment when talking about fuel lines and fittings and what ones i should use on my s14? for example 4an fuel lines and fittings? i need a serious fuel upgrade so im going all out with stainless steel lines and fittings. thanks guys

AN is the type of fitting it is. Much like NPT. AN is flared compression fitting that works very well.
