Seems smart enough of a move, and Rockchucker is another Washington guy that knows his stuff so I trust that it's a safe move as well.
I like his final solution with the ss lines and AN fittings, just not sure I'll shell out for that all soon myself.

But yeah, I've always wanted to do that mod, and with my hoses that desperately need replacement, this might be next on the list.

I think the mod makes sense. I was staring at how ridiculous it was putting on my plenum last week. Typically if you go AN fittings, etc you run new line from the tank forward, use a different filter, and (i think) replace the fuel rail too.

Here is a mod that I did to the stock fuel rail which allowed for me to actually feed under the upper plenum so that if I did need to remove anything I would not have to disconnect any fuel lines. You also run the lines behind and to the same location that he did as well.

Just another option you can do, however it takes a little welding and modifying to the fuel rail, but it works and I still have not had any issues with it to this day.

Where you insert the new fuel nozzle you may want to use JB weld to ensure that no leaking occurs around it. I did this just for good measure.

I am almost done. Testing to make sure there are no leaks. Cutting out a good deal of the places where it could leak does help also. Found this when I removed the fuel dampener.

Yeah, not surprised by that cracking. Good thing you found it though!
