FUEL LIGHT

ALL MY LIGHTS ON MY DASH WORK GREAT BUT MY FUEL LIGHT STOPPED WORKING. ANY IDEAS??

Mine never has worked .Was beggining to think 94's didnt have em'.

LOL YOU KNOW, IM STARTING TO THINK I WAS IMAGINING IT COME ON IN THE PAST. I JUST PISSES ME OFF CAUSE THIS IS THE 3rd CAR I HAVE HAD THAT HAS AN O CRAP LIGHT THAT DOESN'T WORK

Did you run our of gas? Mine has to get very, very, low on gas to come on. I can't take the anxiety to wait for it to come on to get gas.

Ive been to the bottom tick sitting in a 2 hr traffic jam and it never came on.Maybe it has to be lower ??I was sweating bullets that day. lolDoes yours come on when you start the ignition Ebbtide ?Like the rest of the lights ?

my fuel light never came on either, i removed the cluster and checked the light itself, it is in working order... in my case, the light doesnt come on when starting the engine..... has anyone seen the low fuel light come on in our cars???

nissan says that the fuel capacity of the tank is 19 gallons, however, the most i've put in the tank was 17 gallons (it was at or even a little below empty when i filled her up that day)... does that mean that the reserve is 2 gallons?

i guess the only way to check is to have a fuel filter, and a couple of gallons of premium fuel ready, and drive it untill the engine dies of fuel starvation to find out if the light works, and if the fuel capacity is really 19 gallons

I let mine run below E to see if the light worked when I first got the carIt did came on and I refueled several miles later it took about 17.5 gallons.

I have seen my O-**** fuel light on before, it actually comes on when the gauge is past the last line near E, kicks on shortly after that.

I would say it is like a 1.5 gallon reserve or something.

No, I just checked. Mines a 97.

They all have them; mine seldom comes on under 300 miles. If you're on a smooth, straight road, they'll come on gradually and kind of fade-in. First bump or turn messes that up, of course.
