Months ago a injector went out on me.
Well I replaced it, and immediately my power came back ofcourse because all my cyliners were running. But.. not alll my power has came back.. it doesnt feel the same.I recall being able to burn rubber between fast shifts high rpm.. now it woll not do that.

Also starting the car... ever since I replaced the injector it takes a longer crank to start it.

Also I feel like I have a fuel issue because my exhaust tips are pretty black which would be something too rich.

Someone tell me mayne my other injectors are almost going bad(clogging) or because I went a month without one injector/cylinder it put more strain on other parts to cause this now.

Could anyone guess any ballpark issues? After reviewing my syptoms.

This is my first post by the way :) lol.

You drove it a month on a bad injector? It's possible you were spewing fuel out of the failed injector and diluting your oil, or maybe just damaged a cylinder. I would do a compression test.

It's also possible your other injectors are failing, because when one goes, the others aren't usually far behind.

Yes. 1 month of a 5 cylinders.

I herd a rumor that z1 carries a replacement coilpack harnest that you replace without having to pull the plenum??

And I could use new coil packs , spark plugs, fuel filter, if all else fails replace the injectors.

OHYEAH, I ALSO left out its happened twice to me now the past few months.. say im going down a hill.. Ill put in neutral coasting and randomoly my rpms will go up and down but thats rare, more rare it has actually just shut off. Like stall out because the rpm hit 0 while coasting. Is that a MAF symptom u think? It rarely happens to me.

You have a pop charger? (Cone filter) Try this: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/300zx- ... n-fix.html

^That's a good write-up on the RPM bounce and stalling.

No clue what you mean by coil pack harness. Are your connectors broken? They sell the connectors, but you have to de-pin them and re-pin the new ones.

Why do you say you need new coil packs? The ones we have rarely fail.

I dont see how that will solve the rpm bounce.. my z is a NA

And yeah my clips are all broken. But yeah ill take that advice on re pinning them to new connectors.

Ace is trying to help. why ask for help if you're not going to take it?
might as well stop wasting his time.

If you have a multimeter you can Ohm check the injectors pretty easily to see if any other ones are going bad. They should all be between 10-14 ohms, if they are out of that range then they are bad. Like Ace said if one went bad, the others are probably on their way out.

A bad coolant temperature sensor can also cause bouncy idle and a bunch of other problems. It's only like $25 from Z1:

New spark plugs and fuel filter wouldn't be a bad idea like you mentioned.
