I searched and did not get much help, I have been throwing parts at my car for over a year now and still no cure. I have a s14 sr rebuilt stock bottom end, rebuilt head HKS stg2 264 cams, brian crower springs and retainers, sard 550cc injectors, z32maf, lph255 fuel pump, enthalpy tune.

this is the issue right now my car idles like crap, timing is good, plugs are good and gaped at .030 running 12psi of boost. checked for vac leaks none that I can find, I did noticed when I fill gas tank the car runs ok, but when the gauge unit goes down to half a tak of gas it runs rough idle is irratic and lot of vibration wants to stall, after the gauge passes to a 1/4 of a tanks it runs great, this is a little weird.

I replaced the sock in the fuel pump, replaced all fuel lines in the tank to 100psi fuel hose, got rid of but connectors for fuel pump harness, {soildered} and used heat shrink for wires, placed fuel pump back in the tank where it is supposed to sit, still no luck

what is up I am ready to part this car-out had nothing but problems fom day one and it almost has all new parts, the turbo is almost out but that wouldn't cause it to do this right? sorry for being long winded just want to be detailed for the best help.

maybe ts not a fuel issue. maybe its a problem with ur ecu or something. u check it for error codes? maybe its ur idle control or something, ive never realy heard of a problem that has to do with the fuel level.

had a local shop fix my harness thinking it was a short, they said the ecu was good, would the cas do this it only does this around a half a tank of gas really weird after that its fine. maybe the pump idk tired of throwing parts on this thing! the shop I take it to said it might be the turbo not pulling enough air through the maf.
