Hi does anyone know if the 1990 RX-7 550cc injectors (high impendence) will directly into the CA18DET with no modifications required except for the plugs on the injectors?

Any help would be great! thanks

Sorry I'm just a little concerned about swapping the injectors cuz I measured the 370's and they have about 2-3 ohms and the 550's have about 13.5-14.0 ohms.

So I can directly replace 370's with the 550's without removing the dropping resistor from the system. I just want to make sure before I go ahead and change them. I really appreciate the help! Thanks! =)

the dropping resistor is easy to pull out, just pull it and stick a 3in lenghth of wire in it's place. Nobody I've talked to has had a problem with that when they've done the swap in australia, and I've never heard anybody say anything about pulling the resistor. I think you can just re-adjust everything and it will work fine when you re-do your management for the injectors.

PSif you want a different answer, I have an upgraded AFM, an HKS AFR and a set of 440cc injectors for sale $250

It was pretty much a straight bolt on, except I had to modify the plugs with rx-7 ones. First, I had to get my injectors rebuilt and cleaned. I'm using the Apexi S-AFC to control them along with the Z32 MAF.
