Just curious what kind of car uses side feed injectors that I can use on a DE or if there is somewhere that I can get a fuel rail that wil fit onto the de with no modifications that doesnt cost too much. Or even if the sohc fuel rail will work. Im looking for at least 600cc injectors.

The 04-06 Subaru Sti uses 550cc sidefeed injectors that drop in to the KA rail.

If you need larger injectors on a budget, check out http://deatschwerks.com/catalog/.

Here's a list of injectors. You're gonna want to look at Mazda top and side feed injectors. I'm pretty sure they are the largest injectors from the factory.

Here's the cheapest top feed fuel rail available to my knowledge.

Im assuming that goin with the top feed rail would be the easiest/best thing for me to do because I already have a set of 650cc injectors but they are top feed.. unless someone wants to trade me for some decent sized side feeds....

The cheapest way is the Silvia rail. You can do it cheaper if you buy fuel rail stock and drill the holes for the injectors and add fittings to the ends.

I used a fuel rail from the Mustang 4.6 once but it was aftermarket and I fabbed my own mounts for it and the #4 injector is slightly canted to one side. I had no leaks but I don't think it's worth doing again with the Silvia rail being under $80.

It used to be under $40, till they realized no one else really sold an alternative.

In case anyone is looking to make their own top feed rail, RMR sells rail stock. No idea how competitive their price is...

Project Silva rail 80 + Evo 560cc inejctors 100 + JGS resistors 20 = 200 bucks for a nice top feed setup

F fabbing anything or using super old leaky sidefeeds. Evo 560's usually have 20k - 60k miles

The only other Sidefeed is Deatschwerks, not overpriced and carry a great warranty. FWIW I paid $330 for my 550cc's from DW

Here's my perspective.

I've been running sidefeed 740cc's for a while now. I thought they were overkill for whatever I wanted to shoot for. They have let me upgrade into 3 different turbo's, 3076R being the most recent.

But now I want more (again). But for the cost to stay down, I have to go with top feeds. I could upgrade to 850 Sards or something, but I still have the sidefeed rail. I should have went with a top feed rail in the beginning. Top feed rail + high impedance injectors = the price of bigger side feeds.

Had I went with a top feed rail in the beginning, I wouldn't be worrying about it now.

I really hope that made sense...

Ebay had a bunch listed, just search for KA24DE top feed and you'll get results for rails, injectors, and rail+injector combos.

Soon as I get my injectors in, and installed, they will be available. I already have a Project Silvia rail. Just need injectors, and take a trip to Radio Shack for resistors.E-mail me if you're interested still. Just got around to looking at this again.
