fuel injectors

can anyone one offer any advice? I have a 93 j30 and have to replace 2 injectors. Is the injectors compatible w any nissan cars? I'm trying to find out if i can cut the cost down on parts. Thanks

Injector failure is a common age related issue in these cars. There are cheaper aftermarket injectors, however because injector replacement in these cars is such a huge labour intensive task(requires removal of the plenum), most member stick to the Nissan OEM ones, since they're gauranteed and the most reliable.

I haven't pulled the plenum on mine,,, Yet Ive replaced 2 injectors so far using the Dremel method. (Grinding)Actually the first injector didn't even need grinding.He's the how too.http://www.fuzzycats.com/docs/...t.pdf

I got my injectors at Autozone for around 90

They sell some on ebay. i've seen all 6 reman for 100.00 and were swore to never die. I've found in my research that the Maxima shares the same fuel injectors as the j30. I believe it is the years 93-97 or so im not too sure. But what you need to check is that they match yours and that they are DOHC injectors. because i believe some of the maximas use SOHC which our cars dont use i think.

also, instead of looking for say "infiniti j30 fuel injectors" look for "maxima fuel injectors"or "nissan fuel injectors" and just make sure that they match up with the ones that work for the J.Ebay has lots of goodies
