Hey i was wondering if one of my fuel injectors wasn't working would it make a knocking sound?

Do you mean the injector itself knocking or the motor? Injectors make a constant ticking sound as the needle valve inside opens and closes. Now if one does not make a sound that means it isn't working because the needle is stuck in either the open or closed position. If one is leaking you would need to pressure test the fuel system and see if pressure bleeds off. O-rings are a big problem with injectors. What kind of problems exactly are you having?

well 2 days ago i drove home from my friends and when i parked i heard the dreaded knocking sound so i got it towed to my mechanic because i don't really know what to know what to do with a engine. and he is saying the injector wasn't working and he messed around with the harness and now its not making the knocking sound.. I'm just curious how it would be making that sound..

Well in that case I really dont know, lol. Only thing I could think of is an injector being stuck open causing hydrolock type symptoms but even if so I dont think the knock would go away. Are you still driving the car?

nope just to the mechanics... luckly its just my ka24e not my new sr20 im dropping in soon
