if a fuel injector is stuck open will the cause that cyclinder to miss fire? thanks

It can as it will cause an excessively rich condition and foul out the spark plug and get worse from there

If i bought injectors from a different year and modified them to fit my year motor, would they work fine?(1990 motor with 1995 injectors)just a hypathetical question

The injectors are different, you would want to get old style injectors (90-93).
