If you followed the standard testing procedure, then the obvious.

Check the harnesses also, and each injector after you pull the rails. Ever replaced the chain guides or the under plenum hoses and KS along with its harness?

I have not replaced the under plenum hoses going to when i do the injectors, cahin guides replaced almost 2 years ago. Have not replaced the KS senors, they ohmed at .563 & .578. I am just wandering about the big difference in ohm readings on the injectors. Is that normal when some go bad? I used the search on ohming the injectors and it says 10.0 to 14.0, call me a dumb redneck but only 2 show to be in that range....are all others bad #'s 1,2,3,5,6,& 7 are 4 & 8 the only ones ok or as long as it is close to the 10.0-14.0 reading?

Brand new injectors are 11.9-12.1 ohms [depending on measurement temperature].

10-14 is to allow for the variety and accuracy of the typical abused VOM where the batteries are not replace frequently.

The FSM was written before Nissan understood one of the unique failure modes of injectors [ethanol, mtbe, others in gasoline] causing swelling and bad internal connections to the winding.

Old injector harnesses connectors often corrode and the injector sockets can corrode increasing resistance.

After every 10 year interval a good idea to replace the injector harnes, say when the plenum is off to replace knock sensors and their harness.

Just a norm preventative maintenance expense.

That kind of variance is pretty typical during a failure. As Brian said, I would check them individually after you pull the harness. The ones that are close, probably still work... so it's your call as to how much variance you want to tolerate. It might be worth moving the weaker ones to the 1, 2, and either 7 or 8 (can't remember which one is easiest to get to) spots so that when they go you won't have to pull the plenum.

Don't spend $1300 before you actually measure the injectors at their sockets taking harness out of equation.
