fuel injector ticking

93 5spd hatch ka24de; One of my fuel injectors is ticking not really that loud but enough to make me suspicious. I have also been experiencing power stutters in the low rpms both 1st and 2nd gear. any suggestions?

Fuel injectors normally have a low level ticking sound. It's possible that the injector(s) just has dirt in it. Run some good injection cleaner, like Techron or Redline SL-1, through the system; Give the cleaner about a week or two to do it's job. Then go back and check the injector again. If still questionable, replace it.

There is also a product called BG products 44K. It is however a very strong cleaner so use it sparingly.
