Good afternoon my fellow Z car owners. I have a quick question. On my 1983 280 2+2 turbo the fuel line that is directly on the injectors decided to split and pray fuel out. Is this a common thing to have happen? Thankfully the injectors I bought 3 years ago have a lifetime warranty so replacement won't be an issue. Just curious as to what I can do to help prevent this from happening in the future.

First i've heard of this happening. I have to wonder if it's modern high alcohol fuel causing the issue?

That is one possibility I can agree with. Also here I am in Phoenix Arizona where it gets to 120° in the summer with no humidity so we also have dryrot problems from time to time on anything with rubber.
