I need to replace my fuel injectors. How do I tell which ones are bad. The car wont run . Also once I find out which ones are bad, how do I get them out and replace them. I also need to know how to remove and replace the fuel regulator.

once you get them out send them to http://www.RCENG.com and have them cleaned and flow benched, you can also have them made into higher flowing and more volume....

I had seen an ad for this. What do they do if your injectors are f***ed up. Do they just send them back and I'm out 25 bucks? Also I really need to know what steps I need to take to get the injectors out. I have never done it before.

remove the 2 bolts holding your fuel rail down lift and aim the rail over the valve cover. use a jumper wire and ground your coil wire crank and observe your spray from the injectors. should spray out like a mist.

Thanks man. I have been on about 4 message boards and 5 groups asking how to do that. That really made my day, month , year. I think I found a new home. But what about sending the injectors off to get them cleaned. Would it be a good idea to replace all of them or not. Also are remanufactured injectors worth my time. I found some at autopartsgiant for pretty cheap but if I need I can wait to get better ones more$$$.

check out the ones in the car first, see how they are doing. BTW when you have the injectors in the position i told ya, I forgot to mention they will spray once when the key is cycled from the off position to the run position. It will only give a quick burst. then they will spray while you crank the engine. but once the key is relesed from start position to run position they should stop spraying. if any of them do not spray or if they continue to spray when the key is on i would recommend replacing it. I am not familier with the place mentioned in this thread that cleans them. I do know a cleaning proceedure. but it requires the car to be running.

Hey Nistech, I was just trying to do this yesterday man~! Anyways, I still dont get how to successfully remove the fuel injectors...I think I actually bent my fuel rail~!

Is there any real "safe" way to remove the fuel injectors off the fuel rail????

Is there a way I can just un-bend the fuel rail so I can reuse it? Or should I go shopping for a new one?

Thanks~!

hey , the yesterday i was getting ready to try this and I had just unbolted the fpr when I noticed that the vacuum hose on the back side was ripped. I replaced it and the car started . The only problem is that now the car wont hold at idle. If I release the throttle the tach will nosedive and the car will die. whats up

after I bent the fuel rail, that's when it died on me. I was kinda strugling with it, so I tugged on it...bent the whole thing.
