Hello was there ever a recall on the 2000 Q45 due to leaky fuel injectors? I was told that there was on Maximas using the same injectors.

:welcome: to NICO!

I don't think so... and I don't see any recalls for injectors on that year of Q45 or Maxima. The only recall I see for that era of the Q is for cracking alloy wheels.

Thanks Q451990, I did get some new wheels from the dealership. Now have you heard or know anyone that has used refurbished injectors? I found a lot on ebay

Refurbished just means cleaned with new O-rings... they can't really be pulled apart and rebuilt. Do you have a confirmed injector issue? They're pretty much bulletproof on your series of Q. If you're dealing with a misfire issues, it's far more likely to be bad coil packs. They are a frequent failure item on the 1997-2001.

Over the years, quite a few NICO members have reported positive results with Deatschwerks rebuilt injectors.
