fuel injector questions

what is the proper name for the small plastic ring on the end of the injectors? Can they be purchased separate from the injector? Is it necessary for proper function of the injector? I have several that the 3 little tabs are broken off

Thanks. I have decided to give myself a little extra this Christmas and send my rails to DeatschWerks to service rather then try to do it myself.

will do. I am assuming since I am sending them the whole rail they will re-install the injectors and pressure test for leaks, correct? looking at their website they do not mention sending the rails w/ injectors but rather just the injectors.

I sent whole rails as I wanted them to seat and test O rings.
