Ok, I popped the hood and found that i have leaking injectors. I am not thta mechanically enclined, but i have searched the topic, and can remove them and all. My question is this.. The plugs that connect into the fuel injectors-then into all the wires(harness I guess).. are all starting to crack. When i touched the one where it was cracked the idle dropped dramatically, then went back up after i let it go. They are all pretty much the same way. first of all..

1. what are these plug/wires ( technical name)2. they seem to be go into the harness( do i have to replace the whole harness?3. help........

thanks

i have a pic of what i am talking about, but when i post it (115x100) it tells me its to big and to post only (300x300)..O K

what kind of car? if its a nissan you can get replacement injector connectors. are you comfortable with cutting wires and soldering or butte connectoring back together? you can go to a nissan dealer and the parts counter person will prob blow you off so check with pinnacle nissan or courtesy nissan online parts dept. they can get you the connectors with a little pigtail that makes it an easy splice. if you do one, do them all. if you want you can get them aftermarket too. i have had good luck with the aftermarket as i believe they are the exact same part(in this case) sold in a different box. beck arnley worldparts sells jecs-unisia oe connectors. try that, its way better than a whole harness. well the harness would actually be better but more work and money.

yeha i checked all the nissan sites, but none seem to have the injector connecters (w/tail). I emailed them and i am waiting also. thanks for the info!

If anyone has the link to them that would be great, since i am not finding them... much appreciated
