fuel injector question

Someone gave me a set of dsm 450's about 4 years ago. I tossed them in a tote, and have never looked at them until today. When I pulled them out, I noticed one of them has a chunk missing off of the black cover thing on the end. Would this be a problem....or should I go ahead and look for a decent set? My guess would be not to use it....

It is a replaceable part..

It is called a pintle cap, take it to a fuel injection specialist and they should be able to help you out..

I would assume it would only be a few bucks, in australia they are very cheap and widely available...
