I replaced two fuel injectors today. My question is why were they so hard to remove,and does anybody have a solution for removing them easily. Thanks in advance!

Been there done that. Right way is tapping it from the back after you take off the fuel rail. But, most people don't do that. You can spray a lot of WD-40 and use this kind of plier(on the left) to pull it out. There are holes on both sides of injector. I just use a channel lock and pull it out. Most of the time, injector is completely destroyed, but who cares.

Ditto. I had the same problem.

94_240sx speaks the truth! I found the same to be the best option.

well i find that the best way with the least amount of damage is to have 2 screw drivers. pry one in under the connector and pry it with just enough leverage to lift it up then take another screw driver or something thin and strong and slide it to the other side of injector with the slit u created

It's easy to pull them out with anything so long as you're careful. I've used vice grips before. I put a prybar down to give me a fulcrum point for the vice grips.

Glad to see some stuff going on with injector's. I have one dying. #3. I will probably replace all of them. I have noticed a drop in performance also. Anybody know good place to get injector's? checked out deatschwerks.com and they are a good $ for set. $ locally and they cost more.

deatschwerks.com is prolly your best bet for stock injectors. If you try and go to the dealer for one injector it is around $179 + tax. At the website its only $200 for all 4

A few of my friends sent theirs to be serviced. They came back looking almost new. If the coils not bad on the solenoid in the injector this would be my option

How do you know if it is the injector or possible wiring problem. Is there a way to check the voltage?

Question answered in your injector thread. Do an ohlm test. 10-15 ohlms across the injector.

I would try your local NAPA,or similar auto parts store. Sears has a large selection of tools. Or you could try;
