I have just replaced the Injectors in my car. Now the new injectors are either stuck open or closed. Two are stuck open and two are stuck closed and two are working fine. Something that I have checked and found is even with the key off and out of the ignition there is still about 14 volts still going through the wires going to the injectors. Is this suppose to happen? If not what is causing the constant voltage at the injectors?

Like most things driven from ECU the circuit is completed with ecu supplying the ground! There is a switching transistor for each injector and coil inside ecu.

Hopefully you used brand new oem injectors with new upper and lower o rings..........cleaned and dielectric greased the power connectors.

I used Some reconditioned ones that had been cleaned and any parts that could be replace were. also had new seals. I am returning these and purchasing some brand new bosch ones that I found. Something else I was able to find out about all nissans 1990 to 1994 which i found to be very interesting. Here is a link to that info if anyone is interested. It explains a little about a possible reason eairly 90 Nissans had alot of premature injector failureshttp://www.twinturbo.net/net/v...rch=0
