Fuel Injector Problems

Is there a way to check if your fuel injectors are good or bad? I have 8 injectors and i want to see which work or which dont.

Starting a few days ago my check engine light lit up with the error code 45 for injector leak. i have a 90' 240sx fastback ka24e. Now this problem happened before about 2 months ago and i ended up replacing my distributer cap, spark plug wires, and fuel injectors. Everything ran really smoothly after i did that last time.

Now im wondering, i have 2 full sets of fuel injectors handy (8 total) and im wondering if it is just maybe 1 injector that went bad. I tried removing the wire to each injector as the car was running and they all messed up the idle when i did so i couldnt tell if it was just one. i also noticed that ive been idling pretty low (couple weeks ago 800-900, now its 600-900).

One thing i did notice is that when i was messing around with the harness around the injectors that it caused the engine change idle. i couldnt see if it was going up or down, but as i bent and twisted the wires a little bit i could hear the sound of my engine changing a little, almost like revving. could it be a bad wiring harness or w/e wires (sorry im total newb to this).

i really dont want to take this to my mechanic because im currently broke and jobless and cant afford much right now so all and any input is greatly appreciated.

If jiggling wires causes your engine to change idle spped then I would definatley start with the wiring.

by your description of what happens when you unplug each injectors, it sounds like they are all firing OK. However, one or more may be clogged and spraying poorly. This can only be checked by sending them to an injector shop.
