Well, after a few hundred dollars and some elbow grease, the 240 is running on the roads

It seems that one of the fuel injectors is missing a hit. When it is in the low rpms(1-2.5) there is a chance the car could die out. When i get in the higher rpms, it seems it is fine. This is probably because there is less of a time interval inbetween each spark.

Does this sound like I should replace the fuel injectors? How could I find out which fuel injectors are bad? Should I just clean them? If so how do I clean them?

Alot of questions but no answers, so please help me

An easy test to verify that all your injectors are working ---->

Start your car and get it at a stable idle.

One by one, take each injector plug off of the injector.

If you have a faulty injector, one of the injectors you pull off will do nothing to the engines idle, letting you know that it wasnt working anyway.

To clean your injectors the cheap/easy way, next time you fill up run your tank all the way out of gas. Buy whatever brand of injector cleaner at any parts store. Fill up with high test gas, and drive the car till its out of gas again. Other than that, you can take your injectors out and send them to companys to have them reworked, flow tested and cleaned.

I had the same problem with my car and it ended up being the timing. Play with the distributor. What do you have timing set at?
