fuel injector pricing

I was wondering how much it costs to replace the fuel injectors on a 1990 240 hatch, I notice a problem accelerating from 1000rpm to 2500rpm, and I am hoping this fixes it.

I found them to be ~106 a piece at nissan whole sale parts (addy to your left)

Did you test the fuel injectors first. Like with a dvom. Go to the nissan online mechanic board and check in there how to do it. They should all read about the same (doesn't really matter what reading you get as long as they are about =) (Mine read about 11.6 on all four). Just tryin to keep you from spending excess money. Also, did you try to clean the carbon deposits from your engine with seafoam?

I believe I saw some up for sale on ebay...really cheap, you might as well just replace them!

Its pretty simple. 2 bolts on top of the intake manifold that remove a circular metal part (I don't know what it is or does, sorry) It has vacuum lines on it but i think you can just fold it over to gain access to the fuel rail. Then there are 2 more bolts for the fuel rail (need an extension with a socket) to pull the fuel rail. Then the injector wiring comes off and you can pull your injectors out of the fuel rail. Be careful with your new injectors and seals... gas can easily slip by if they are dinged or cut in any way. Hope this helps.

I have 4 injectors off a 89 SOHC hatch. They are still in the car and i believe all 4 of them are in decent condition. Make me an offer. [email protected] . Nick

also check your EGR valve... I had issues with stuttering and what not.. .it ended up being the EGR

When I gently wiggle three of the four fuel injectors, the car sounds like it studders and is about to die, also ive noticed the rubber around the wires going into the injectors have deteriorated an almost gone. Could this be the problem to my injectors, and would it be also why i am have trouble accelerating quickly between 1000-2500 rpms?>
