are the plugs any certain color(s)? i also have one more sensor to plug in but i don't know what it is or what plug goes into it. it has the same looking male connector as the fuel injectors and its in between the throttle position sensor and some red plugged sensor on what appears to be the thermostat housing or something of the sort.

if you can see the wires (or my injectors had different colored tape on them) here is the order they go... they all have grey plugs IIRC:

Injector 1: Wire 1: white/black Wire 2: whiteInjector 2: Wire 1: yellow/black Wire 2: yellowInjector 3: Wire 1: green/black Wire 2: greenInjector 4: Wire 1: blue/black Wire 2: blue

the one with the black wire is the ground, the colored one is the ecu signal.

the green plug goes to your green idle air control cylinder (can't remember the name right now... I want to say IIAC valve)

the red plug goes to that red temp sensor.

wow. thanks so much NeedCAforS13. apon closer inspection (and a little cleaning) i noticed there was colored tape on the injector plugs but it was hidden under lots of oil and soot. turned out that my 3rd and 4th were switched. it runs now! woohoo!:ylsuper

I did that too:) btw, for future reference your FSM has a wiring diagram with colors of all wires at the very end... thats how I found the colors (that and I've had to do it for my own engine twice now, because I kept forgetting which one went where!)
