I have a question, just got my new injectors for my Z, beck/arnleys, and they look great, but somethings different. On the old injectors at the top, connector end there is a little metal piece sticking up from the dead middle. The only way i can describe it is like a small pintle on top. On the new injectors this is missing, just has a small plastic disk where it would be sticking out, also small lateral holes are missing on the connector end. I would include pictures of my injectors, but they are in the car and i have yet to seal up the plenum, will be doing when my parts come in.

Picture #48, the little metal pieces in the middle of the injector are not present, and also the holes on that step up section towards the middle is lacking lateral holes.

Should i just install and the box instructions don't say a thing about removing anything of the sort?

Pictures will defiantly help. But all TT Z32 injectors should have the pintle cap (Plastic cover like think that helps with disbursement pattern).

I went through the same thing. right now in my Z I have 3 different "types" of OEM old-style injectors for a z32 TT. I did some research and found that they went through quite a few part numbers for the injectors, but they all work the exact same. not sure if nissan went through different manufacturers at different times or what. as long as your new injectors are for your car (old style injectors for the NA) they should work just fine.
