I am having difficulties finding the fuel injector fuse for a 92 Q45. I looked in the FSM, found the fuel pump fuse, but no injector fuse. Anyone know where it is? I am already assuming it is in the fuse box behind the battery, just don't know which one it is. Thanks in advance-------- Ben

You'll have to look at the legend on the inside cover of the fusible link box.

Should be the middle brown fuse on the inside top row... it'll make sense when you look at it.

Great place with an amplified current probe or a 0.1 ohm resistor and an oscilloscope to see the current ramp graph of the injectors........as they all are feed in parallel from the fuse.........the ecu switches [closes] the ground individually.

Never seen this fuse blow as even with WOT and 6,000 rpms, there are only 50 injections per second lasting 10/16.6= 60% duty cycle x 4= 240% or 2.4 amperes +- 10%. Worst case is a cold crank when all injectors open simultaneously for a few rpm/seconds.

A VOM won't be accurate since the response time vs duty cycle is not continuous.........changes with rpm.
