what size are the factory injectors on my 89 240? I am looking to replace them and need to know. Also I have heard you can run slightly larger than stock without any aftermarket modifications. How much larger and will it be worth it. I have 2.5" exhaust, deleted cat, and a cone filter.

ka24e injectors are 260cc. i do not know of any drop in injectors that are "slightly larger than stock". the next step would be 370cc injectors out of a ca18det, but aftermarket modifications would be required. if you are trying to gain performance, you are going about it the wrong way. Larger injectors could be used for a high output n/a setup, or turbo. if your engine is basically stock keep researching and you will find out what you can do.

I am not only looking for performance I am trying to get my car to run again. At least one of the injectors are bad and I am want to try and replace them all. This will in turn give me slightly better performance but it is not my main objective. I have already looked around and am trying to decide upon a sr20 swap or a ka24 turbo possibly a swap to ka24de and make that a turbo. I might even consider NA if it can make as much power and still be reliable. I have yet to find a good reason for any option as I have yet to see them personally. Let me know your feelings on the whole deal.

you need to find some stock injectors to get your car running, then you should decide. there are no injectors available to increase your performance on a stock engine with stock ecu, etc... I personally love super high revving n/a engines, its different, involved, and very expensive for someone without lots of resources. if right now your debating ka turb. vs. sr20 vs ka n/a, you need to do a lot of research and find out what you want to do

i have done quite a lot of research in the last year. I started off looking at the ka-t option then I got turned on to sr20-t somewhere along the way. I looked into all motor but really I have it narrowed down to ka-t or sr20t. Looking at all of the info available here I am seriously debating a ka24et. The only problem I am having is where to get it all done. Normally I would have done it all myself, but I just moved to kansas city to live with a friend who isnt into cars at all. I left all of my shop space and tools at my parents house in western nebraska. Now I am stuck here with no way to perform any serious modifications on my own. I would like to know if anyone lives here and would be willing to help or if anyone knows of any reliable shops who don't charge an arm and a leg. I would rather help do the work so then if something goes wrong, which it will, I will have a clue about whats going on...
