I emailed the guys at FIC to see if they're DSM injectors will work with our CA18DET's, I got a reply from FIC and was wondering if someone would be willing to do some measurements on OEM 370cc's.

Hello Richard,

I have not heard of anyone using our low-z DSM injectors in the CA18DET, though after a short bit of research online it seems like there may be a very close fit between the two.

If you have or can get some length measurements of CA18DET the injector, particularly the distances between the seal surfaces (or perhaps the center of seal to center of seal length) I will be able to tell you how to adapt the DSM injector for use in the Nissan.

Let me know what you were thinking about doing – we can always custom machine a set of injectors to fit better (machine less or more here or there) in order to make the fit much better – but that will depend on the measurements J

Regards,
Mike

i run fic 650's had to drill out the injector ports a little and shim the fuel rail up a bit with some washers but they work fine. I'm almost positive there just a little bit taller than stock

I hope they can come up with a PnP injector for the CA. I'll be putting my engine back together soon and my 550's are going to need upgraded to 1500's, and their price on 1500's is very reasonable.
