Ok guys I want to share a story and see if anyone thinks whats going on is right or can help me out.
I take my car to "reputable big name company" to get my car serviced for a full on fuel system cleaning. They take off the air intake and spray a couple shot of this cleaning stuff into my throttle body and clean the crap out of it, it was dirty as hell and now clean. That was nice, except when they tried to crank the car 3 times after they did it, it stalled a few secs after words. So anyways, they get the car running and continue they add this stuff to my gas tank, some other cleaner to my oil, and hook up a drip bottle to a vaccum hose and run my car for 25 mins at 2000 rpms as this stuff cycle's threw my engine a few times the car starts to hesatate and looks like its gonna die, but they adjust the throttle and it stays ok.
Well after this is all done I drive away, and I admit it felt real good for the next 5 days. Then, I start getting hesitation in the throttle, I shrug it off and wait and see if it still does it. The next day it starts bogging down when i press more then 25% off the line or in the first 25 mph. So I take it back in and ask them to check it and see what is going on. They guy tells me he thinks the spark plugs are bad and wants to take them out. So he goes ahead and takes them out, well theres carbon all over them, black as hell. I changed these plugs a month ago. So he says he will replace them and we will see how it does. While he takes the third plug out, he strips the hole in the head for the 3rd plug. He persists that I had stripped it before. After about a hour of arguing he says he will tap it and try to fix it. Well he ends up tapping it sideways and says he will send it to a shop for him to look at.
The next day he says that he wants to helicoil it. I am kind of sketchy on helicoil, he tells me that its eather his way or I am on my own. So I let them do it. I get my car back today and it runs fine for about 5 miles. Then it starts happening again. I call the guy and he says he will pay to take it to nissan and have them diag the problem. So I agree, but he tells me he basiclly wont pay for the repairs cause the fuel system cleaning won't cause these problems. Well I want nissan to look at it and find out what it is. Well on the way home it gets really bad and when I pull up to my drive way and shut it off it smells like gas pretty bad. I wait 5 mins and try to crank it over, its a no go, it tries to crank but it sounds like there is no compression and I can't get her started.
Any Ideas on what this is or how the hell it got like this, I am out of a car till monday at least till they can tow it somewhere.
